- Apply for WSIB account (mandatory if you will have employees)
For starting a corporation in Ontario you will need the following:
- Choose the name of the corporation
- Check the availability of the corporate name
- Gather all information required to file the Articles of Incorporation
- Name and address of the business
- NUANS search report that is less than 90 days old
- Description of the business activities
- Name and address of each Director
- Name and address of each Shareholder
- Filing the Articles of Incorporation
- Filing the initial returns (must be filed within 60 days of registration)
- Apply for HST/Payroll/WSIB Accounts, Import & Export Account
- Apply for commercial general liability insurance
